Maker Program In A Box! We provide everything you need to run an Afterschool Maker Program with 12 or more students.

Students will participate in a 10-week maker program where they will work on hands-on projects that introduce them to basic electronics through creative materials. Projects allow students to have fun and be creative while building their hands-on making skills. The program will engage students to think of themselves as creators and inventors.

Projects

Description

1. Paper Circuits

Students will start off by learning to create a simple circuit. They will then apply what they learned and build another circuit to light-up their own creation like a pop-up card, notebook or gift.

2. Motorized Bot

The artbot is a fun introduction to motors and automatic machines. Students will create personalized art-creating bots by assembling a motor circuit.

3. Superhero Mask

Students will design make own light-up superhero mask using electronics. The mask is ready to decorate and allows for many superhero combinations for both boys and girls.

4. Game Show Button

Students will host their own game show by making a game buzzer and creating quiz questions.

5. Maker Showcase

Students will prepare their projects to be displayed  in this mini-maker faire style culminating showcase
